In this way, the patient can live their final moments with the greatest dignity.

Life is impermanent, we can never tell when our hour will come. Nonetheless, we have the power to reduce our life regrets if we choose to. At Forget Thee Not, pre-planning before an inevitable transition is always recommended when someone is able to think for himself and mentally sound. A person should be able to live their final moments with dignity. Family and health professionals can make appropriate decisions according to the patient’s expressed preferences if it is documented in advance. Pre-planning is a thoughtful expression of love to remove unnecessary stresses over transition arrangements and lessen the mental burdens on family members. By making our preferred choices clearer, valuable resources can be allocated efficiently and the larger society can benefit from this.
Pre-planning also upholds the values of traditional Chinese culture, reinterpreting the traditional “Five Blessings – Peaceful Death” where the elderly from ancient times prepared shrouds and coffins in their home to prepare for their transition.
Support for Dying at Home

Doctors are available to sign the death certificate and the funeral team handles the logistical arrangements of the ceremony.
